2/12/02 - Alta, UT
With all of the Olympic hoopla going on in this state right now, Ithought it would be best to continue my search for nice snow and nocrowds. For the last couple of days I have been skiing Alta and it hasbeen sweet. There are absolutely no crowds up here and the snow isawesome. By all means, make a trip to Alta during the games this winterif you like great skiing all by yourself. I was lucky enough to hook upwith Wind-Up Films standouts Jamie Pierre and Rick Wroblewski for a fewruns. They showed me all kinds of killer little stashes-rock jibs,mini-gaps, and natural terrain features that kept us on the hill allday. Alta is the perfect place to ski right now so get up, get out, andgo skiing.
