After five awesome days of skiing Little Cottonwood Canyon, the POWDERshow rolled east through the sun drenched deserts of Utah to CopperMountain, CO for the Western Winter Sports Representatives Association(WWSRA). Upon arrival I was treated to quite a nice surprise-all of thevery latest in ski gear-and I was encouraged to ski everything. The skisfor next year are way out of hand, which is good, because the level ofskiing these days is even more impressive. Another packed housewitnessed the POWDER Magazine Video Awards show and some luckypartygoers scored Boeri helmets, VIP lift tickets to everywhere inColorado, and even some airline tickets donated by Colorado Ski CountryUSA. Red Hook Brewery kicked down with a ton of free beer and other swagensuring that there was something for everyone. It was a great show withkiller prizes so look out for our next show Feb. 16 in Squaw Valley, CA.
