Silverton Mountain promises to bring the unique bigmountain experience found at Jackson, Snowbird, and Squaw to the backwoods of Colorado. For $99 you can ski 1,600 acres of big mountain terrain. The area solelyconsists of advanced and expert skiing in Colorado's San Juan mountains,which are known for their huge powder dumps. In the last two weeks, twostorms have dumped 60 inches of snow at the area. With a single lift,Silverton serves up an area bigger than Crested Butte, Telluride, andArapaho Basin.
