Live a Little – Swedish Posse
www.sweposse.com
Length: 40 minutes
Cost: $20
Medium: 16mm
This season the Swedish Posse invites you to "Live a Little". And after watching thirty-nine minutes of the Swedish lifestyle, you'll either be bumming about your boring life or psyched to step it up. Apparently "Live a Little" is Swedish for "Live everyday like it's your last." Jackson's cliffs, Finland's flutes and Andermatt's drops prove no match for the likes of Kaj Zackrisson, Sverre Liliequist, Ted Josesfsson and a plethora of other talented Europeans. The Posse isn't just a boys club—Karina Hollekim's BASE jumps give whole new meaning to ballsy. With nary a jib shot, the Swedes are all big mountain business, and aside from some aquatic sled skiing in Iceland, off-snow antics are nowhere to be found. The Posse has found a formula that works: Solid footage, new athletes, innovative editing and trippy tunes delivered straight-up, no hype.
