A-BASIN: New lift in Montezuma Bowl

 SUN VALLEY FIRE: Ski Resort and Surrounding Areas Still Threatened by Fire
The Sun Valley Ski Resort was set ablaze by a lightning storm requiring over 2,000 homes to evacuate. As of Thursday, the Sun Valley fire was burning for the 15th straight day.
 NZ FREESKI OPEN: Kiwi Sam Smoothy takes Big Mountain title
Sam Smoothy was last night crowned king of the mountain, taking out top place in the Icebreaker Big Mountain heli-accessed finals as part of the Volkl New Zealand Free Ski Open.

Vail Resort commences its 45th opening day on November 16, and locals and tourists alike will be greeted with another round of construction upgrades. The resort that is known for its massive terrain and award-winning apres atmosphere, gained approval for plans to revamp the resort and its surroundings.

Adam Delorme stole the show at the New Zealand Freeski open Slopestyle with huge double front flips with a switch 1080 over the massive 60ft kicker combined with good clean rails.
