Guest pros in town included Sammy Carlson and Kristi Leskinen. Charles and Vincent Gagnier were also around filming with Plehouse. K2 team rider Chris Benchetler just arrived for his first summer with Windells. He’s stoked about skiing with the campers, testing skis with K2, and getting snow time while working on new tricks in the pipe. Oakley team riders Grete Eliassen and Pep Fujas are anticipated to arrive at Hood for the next session.
LINE’s Jason Levinthal was in town in town for a photo shoot with Becker, Smith, and their crew of young riders. Jordan Judd, Adam Clark, and the gang from Surface Skis out of Salt Lake were up testing product.

Pete Alport from Rage Films was up shooting with Carlson, Kyler Cooley, and Wiley Miller for their new movie, which remains untitled. The Rage crew left for a few days to hit up their top-secret location and shoot the intro to the movie, which premieres in the fall. Alport returned to Hood to get some additional shots with Carlson.
Windells is off for a few days now, but Session 4 starts on July 7th. There is talk of an addition of a major step-up jump to the park for next week.
MHSSC welcomed Tanner Rainville as a coach to the five freestyle riders at their camp last week. Their park had three new 12-foot boxes that can be set either individually or connecting. Rainville entertained campers by throwing out Sessions schwag and signing autographs. Rainville is working on his half pipe skills while he’s out here, but is taking it easy because of the shoulder surgery he is having shortly after he leaves Hood. A sunset session with Rainville and a few others is in the works for this week.
Despite the hot temperatures the snow is holding up and everyone is buzzing with positive energy and looking forward to another week of summer skiing at Timberline.
