10 MINUTES: With Ian McIntosh

If you say so. It'd be pretty tough to make a living as a sky-diver though, right?
There's always a need to make money. I'm a carpenter. I hope one day to be able to build my own house. I hurt my hip mountain biking, so I've been taking some time off from carpentry. Now I'm delivering pizzas. There's a bunch of local rippers in Whistler who deliver pizzas. I actually make better money doing that full time than I do with carpentry, but there isn't any kind of future with delivering pizzas.

You must eat a lot of pizza…
I try to stay away from the poisons in life and society. I try to bike lots and hike lots and be active. I eat healthy. My roommates and I have a lot of barbecues in the summer, with veggies and salads. We've been trying to hit up the organic lately.

So, what's up next for you?
I'm heading to Chile in a month with North Face to ski with Sage [Cattabriga], Ingrid [Backstrom], and Dana [Flahr]. We're going have a heli sitting there for us for the good days and ski the resort on the not-so-good days. It'll be good to get back on the skis before the season starts.

Ian finds another line in Jackson.
