Our roster has changed a lot in three years. Being on the road is tough. If someone bugs you before you get in the car, then you have to worry about elbowing each other for 20 hours. Skiers and snowboarders are different bread all together, and to have them all get along… By the end of our last trip to Mica Creek, it was like family time.
The majority of our advertising budget is stickers, and you can find them from here to Japan. It’s kind of like connect the dots to places we’ve been.
We’re gong to do two-year films. By not having sponsors, we can do two-year films. We don’t have anyone else’s timeline to follow. Most of all, it’s more beneficial for the athletes to have two-year films. The can work on other projects, and if they get injured they can still get a part.
The movie will come out on October 31, 2007. Halloween. It will be called the Fall of ’07. Everyone kept asking when it was going to come out, and I got sick of saying “the fall of 07”, so that became the name.
If people start giving us flack for our film, we’re a clothing company. If they don’t like our clothes, we’re a film company. I guess more than anything, we’re a sticker company. And a movement. Fuck the rules! Start a movement and make jobs for you friends.
