This fall, Crested Butte, Colorado-based Matchstick Productions (MSP) will release two new films: The Seth Morrison Chronicles and Ski Movie III: The Front Line. Morrison, 28, expounds on his career and the creation of his first signature film.
POWDER: As of today, how many films have you made?
Seth Morrison: Quite a few. I've been filming with Matchstick Productions
since the '92-'93 season. I've done over 10 films with them.
POWDER: Tell us what's unique about The Seth Morrison Chronicles.
SM: It's basically a collection of memories. It's the story of how I
came to be doing what I'm doing now. I tried to draw in other people who have
to do with why I'm where I am. There was a lot of going through old stuff, digging
out magazine clippings, editing. Doing this video is pulling me back into parts
of the industry I've been away from.
