RAINIER/ADAMS: Davenport, Mahon hit NW summits
Ted Mahon and I just got home from a very fun and successful trip to the northwest, where we skied Mt. Rainier and Mt. Adams. Rainier is a badass peak with so much ski potential it is scary. We had totally epic weather and a summit day with hardly any wind and perfect conditions. Chances are fairly good we will be back for more! After two nights on Rainier we headed south to Adams, and while the skiing was no where near as interesting as on Rainier, we came away with a fun ski and another wonderful summit experience. -Chris Davenport
