Rob Story, long time editor and contributor to Powder Magazine, made his debut this week with NBCsports.com as a weekly columnist covering the NFL. Story, who started with Powder in 1990, is known in the ski community for his biased wit and unrivaled cynicism, and will undoubtedly bring these traits to his new endeavor. An unappologetic Kansas City Chiefs fan, Story flies a giant Chiefs flag outside his Colorado home throughout football season presumably just to stir the ire of his Broncos-loving neighbors. His first edition for the sports website is a scathing commentary ripping the Broncos Ashley Lelie for holding out of training camp. In addition to chastizing John Elway as a man who could “…flat out pout,” he writes to Lelie: “We're being charitable in noting that your name, Ashley Lelie, ranks among the least masculine in football history.”
