BANFF/ LAKE LOUISE, Alberta Welcome to winter! The second major winter system settled into Banff National Park yesterday bringing cooler temperatures and up to 30 cms/12 inches of new snow to the Banff-Lake Louise-Sunshine ski resorts. Snow continues throughout the day today and cooler temperatures are providing excellent conditions for snowmaking crews to assist Mother Nature.
