The 16th Derby de La Meije will take place in La Grave-La Meije in the French Alps, from 29 March to 2 April, race day on 2 April: 1 000 riders from all over the planet will meet at the top of the ski area in La Grave (3550m) with only one goal in their head, to find the fastest line "down da hill".
Snowboarders, skiers, telemarkers, monoskiers or any other crazy sliding element, will take on the challenge to reach the finish line as fast as possible - with around 2 150 metres of vertical drop in the wild ski area of the Vallons de la Meije in La Grave. No pistes. No signs. It is all up to you.
The Derby de la Meije is unique in the world, open to all experienced riders, professionals or amateurs. The fastest racers will blast off and finish with a crazy time of less than five minutes, the more laid back will enjoy the run and admire the magic landscape.
