POWDER: What projects did you have going on between There's Something
About McConkey and Immersion?
SG: Two years ago, I focused on Ski Movie II: High Society. This
winter I filmed for Ski Movie III: The Front Line. I kind of have a need
every other year to do something on my own.
POWDER: What else would you like people to know about Immersion?
SG: It was inspired by the surf movie, The September Sessions,
a really cool flick by Jack Johnson.
POWDER: Did Matchstick Productions just help you to produce Immersion
or were they also involved in filming?
SG: MSP just helped out with production. I helped with The Front Line.
POWDER: Are you going to hold a premiere or just release the video?
SG: I don't know. I'll probably have a show in [Lake] Tahoe, [California]
and a few other little ones here and there. No tours, though.
POWDER: Where and when can people buy Immersion?
SG: It will be available in a couple of weeks. MSP is already selling
it online.
POWDER: What projects do you have in the works for this season?
SG: No ideas yet. I'll see what comes along. I'm just anxious to ski
some lines.
