Balea X Ride
Hai Hui Entertainment and Crazy Bike Sibiu are proud to announce the third edition of Bâlea X Ride. The contest will take place at Bâlea Lac (2044m) in the Fagaras Mountains, March 21st-23rd. This will be the third edition of the most popular and long- standing Freeride contest in Romania.
The event will showcase RomaniaÂ’s elite skiers and snowboarders. Invitations were also made to top riders in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, France, Switzerland, and Austria who have already confirmed their participation.
Bâlea X Ride is the only extreme sports event in Romania broadcast on the Internet, on its own website – www.xride.ro. The organizers, Hai Hui Entertainment and Crazy Bike Sibiu, found this the best solution for broadcasting the event to the many spectators who could not be present on location (150-200 people). Riders and fans can see this unique contest from home on the following Internet Broadcasts:
1Â’st broadcast: Sunday, 23rd of March, 21:00 (East European Time)
2Â’Ind broadcast: Wednesday, 26th oh March, 14:00 (East European Time)
3Â’rd broadcast: Tuesday, 27th of March, 22:00 (East European Time)
The event will include Freeride and Chinese Downhill contests. Both are open to all riders. Obligatory protection equipment: helmet, ARVA, shovel and probe, back protection, harness for access to the sites.

The contest is sponsored By Red Bull and OÂ’Neill, with the support of RDS and Totalnet.
As a result of the last yearsÂ’ contests, their location at Balea Lac became more and more popular among riders from Europe. This year the organizers expect a significant amount of international participation.
