Purchasers Receive Free Hotel Room, Summer Season Tram Pass, Lesson,
Discounts
Snowbird, Utah - Snowbird Ski & Summer Resort announced today it will offer
a free one-night stay at the Cliff Lodge, a free summer season Tram pass, a
free Mountain School lesson and discount coupons to skiers and snowboarders
who purchase season passes by July 31, 2002.
The Little Cottonwood Canyon resort with the longest ski and snowboard
season in Utah also announced it will not raise day or season ticket prices
for the 2002-03 season. Also new for the upcoming season is a $99 Student
(K-12) Unlimited Season Pass when purchased in conjunction with an adult
season pass (K-12 Unlimited Chair Season Pass is $199 when purchased
separately).
"This is the earliest and most competitive season pass pricing Snowbird has
offered in 30 years," said Snowbird President Bob Bonar. "People can ski or
ride Snowbird for as little as $29 a day and still get a free room at the
Cliff, a lesson, a summer Tram season pass and discounts on merchandise."
Snowbird's Unlimited Season Pass sells for $899 with no restrictions and
includes all of the "Early Bird Freebies" - one-night stay at the luxurious
Cliff Lodge until Dec. 19, 2002; a free 2002 Summer Tram Pass; a free group
Mountain School lesson to be used before Dec. 19, 2002; and a coupon book
for an additional 10 percent off summer and winter merchandise at Snowbird
Ultimate Mountain Outfitters until Oct. 31, 2002. The "Early Bird Freebies"
also are included with the purchase of an Unlimited Chairs Season Pass
($799), the $299 Perfect 10 Chairlift Pass, the $399 College Student
Unlimited Chairlift Pass as well as any of Snowbird's Season Ticket
Programs. $99 and $199 Student Pass purchasers receive all "Early Bird
Freebies" but the night's stay at the Cliff Lodge.
$99 Student Unlimited Pass - This Tram and Chairs or Chairs-only season pass
for students grades K-12 must be purchased with an adult Snowbird Season
Pass program. $199 without an adult purchase. Includes all "Early Bird
Freebies" except room if purchased before July 31. No blackout dates.
$299 Perfect 10 Chairlift Pass - 10 days of skiing and riding for $29.90 per
day. This pass is fully transferable but only valid for one person per day.

$399 College Student Unlimited Chairlift Pass - Good on any of Snowbird's 10
chairlifts that access the whole mountain, purchasers must present proof of
full-time enrollment. Includes free room, lesson, summer Tram pass and
discounts if purchased before July 31. No blackout dates.
$799 Unlimited Chairlift Pass - Good any time on any of Snowbird's
chairlifts, this pass includes a free room at the Cliff, lesson, summer
season pass and discounts if purchased before July 31, 2002. No blackout
dates.
$899 Snowbird Unlimited Pass - Good any time on any of Snowbird's chairlifts
or the Tram, this pass includes a free room at the Cliff, lesson, summer
season pass and discounts if purchased before July 31, 2002. No blackout
dates.
