The fall has yet to arrive, but it is already winter in the high country. Another cold front moved into western Colorado Tuesday evening, releasing over 10 inches of snow on the San Juan Mountains. Breckenridge, Copper, Vail, Beaver Creek, Sunlight, Crested Butte, Aspen, Durango, Telluride, Steamboat & SolVista have all seen snow throughout the day, and they are expecting another 2-5 inches above 10,000 feet tonight.
Silverton Mountain cranked up their lift this morning and they have already been making turns, while Aspen Highlands is expecting 10-12 inches in their bowl overnight and are sending a crew of skiers up there tomorrow.
