First-ever 9,500-foot tram party!
Snowbird, UT-Snowbird Resort, Red Bull, Amstel Light, and Mountain Sports International teamed up to host the first-ever 9,500-foot tram party. To celebrate the seventh annual Subaru U.S. Freeskiing Nationals held from February 2-6, 2004 at Snowbird, UT, the tramcars became dance clubs Tuesday evening. The red tram housed a live DJ and left the tram dock first. Once the blue tram was loaded, the two met at midway, shared an extension cord, and both freeskier-filled cars grooved to DJ Knuckles' live mixes, lighting up the Cirque with the glow of disco balls. This epic party writes another chapter in the Snowbird Tram history book.
