Crystal
Crystal - 03 - PTTP

Our party at the Bullwheel was a huge success due in no small part to the fact that Nelson from Redhook was in attendance buying his favorite beers for everyone. Due to his generosity and the generosity of our other sponsors and the patrons of Crystal, we were able to pull in a nice hunk of cash for The Service Board. This organization is hell bent on getting kids from Seattle onto the mountain, exposing them to new experiences and opportunities. After the festivities we enjoyed the ambiance and great food at The Snorting Elk Cellar, then called it an early evening.
Day two of our stay proved to be as good or better than the first. It had only snowed an inch or two overnight, but the place is just not skied by many people during the week and it didn't take much more than a dusting and a little wind transport to completely revitalize Crystal. After passing over so many amazing lines the day before, we feasted on the overlooked goods this time. Marble smooth ramps awaited us on the Throne, as well as soft and spongy PNW landings. This may be one of the best secrets in the lower 48, and with easy access from Seattle, you could have huge, deep vert all to yourself, just like that.
