Shop of the Week, Steamboat
Shop of the week - Extreme Tuning
February 18th, 2003

Before - ouch!

We are unusually hard on our skis. By the time we got to Steamboat our boards were in need of some serious attention. I had several core shots and one of my edges was beginning to blow out. Gabe skis with reckless abandon so his skis always need love. We had the good fortune to run into Mike Gerhart at Extreme Tuning.

Mike took our skis for the night and proceeded to transform them from mangled messes into smooth, sharp machines that slice through any snow conditions with the greatest of ease. Dan "The Man", owner and operator of the shop, is a happy go lucky dude with an awesome attitude. If you would like a window into his character you needn't look any further than his wardrobe. He showed up at our party decked out in a pimp suit that would have made Puff Daddy envious. If you're looking for quality service from a fun, energetic staff go to Extreme Tuning located underneath Christy Sports in the Clocktower building.

After - sweet.
